The REAL Pandemic

It is the one thing that is on our minds on a daily basis. It seems to possess us and force us to do things that we’d rather not do. It distracts us, paralyzes us, and sometimes, eludes us from what really exists. It comes in so many forms, that some people live their entire lives based around it.

I'm speaking about the phenomenon of FEAR.

Whether it’s fear of clowns, fear of death, or fear of failure – it’s there, and is typically a difficult feeling to get over. Fear seems to be a trait that has been embedded in our cultures and societies from day one. It has shown itself in every tradition, every religion, and every society time and time again. We can try as hard as possible to stay away from the fear, but eventually, the fear catches up with us. Some of the best past life regression therapists in the world, such as famous author Michael Newton (Who wrote “Journey of Souls), will tell you that sometimes fear will even follow us to our next life as a kind of “spiritaul baggage” – though, typically this is due to a tragic situation that occurred in a past life.

In modern times, we see increased amounts of fear being spread throughout the public. News channels have gotten used to publicizing every negative, fearful thing that they can get their hands on. Environmentalists warn us that about the destruction of the earth and humankind due to Global Warming. Historians and Preachers continue to scare the masses with possilibity of a coming doomsday of 2012. Doctors and scientists have people scared shitless as news of the swine flu “pandemic” is so publicized that even the man living under a rock knows that the H1N1 virus exists.

So what do we do? How do we get rid of this fear? If you asked a Zen Buddhist monk, he would probably tell you this: “All fear is illusion, walk straight ahead.” To destroy the fear that exists, you must own your power, and be courageous. Become the Rocky Balboa of your mind…challenge the fear to a five round match…

Round 1: Confront it

If you want to be the best boxer, you are going to look for the best boxers to fight. Your opponent is going to be less confident when you’re the one that’s provoking the fight and not him. So do just that. Confront the fear instead of letting it confront you. Purposely go out seeking for this feeling of fear. When you find it, just let it be. Pay attention to how your body reacts and where your mind takes you.

Round 2: Accept it

In the third Rocky movie, Rocky decides to set up a match against a young, undefeated fighter. He knew that there was a great chance that he would lose – but he accepted this fact. In his mind, he had nothing to lose. Be like Rocky – what do you have to lose? Once you know that the fear is there, be ok with it. Say to yourself, “I’m ok, that there is a part of me that is feeling fearful about this particular person/place/situation.” By accepting what is, you are doing exactly the opposite of what the fear wants – you are becoming fear-less. This will significantly weaken the fear.

Round 3: Give it Gratitude

Once you have allowed yourself to accept where you are at, the fear will be in a weakened state. Give it a one-two punch by using the power of gratitude. Be grateful for the fear, stating: “Thank you fear. Thank you for protecting my spirit. Thank you for making me a stronger person. Thank you for teaching me these valuable lessons.” At this point, the fear will be feeling quite vulnerable…so keep fighting!

Round 4: Give it Love

When Muhammad Ali said: “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee”, this is what he meant: Strike again using your most powerful tool – love. Give love to the fear that exists. Putting your hand in the “I love you” sign, place your hand to your heart and say: “I love you fear. You are pure love.” Just like water distinguishes fire, love distinguishes fear.

Final Round: Let it go

At this point, the fear is is on its last leg, it’s wobbling around barely able to stand– but it is still there. Don’t let it catch its breath. Finish the match. By using the power of acceptance, gratitude, and love the fear will be down for the count – KO’d. Elicit the final blow by saying, “Fear, I accept you and appreciate your protection, but I no longer need you in my life! I am love and I can’t help it, it’s my nature!” At this point, the match is over. You are the victor – you are the greatest!

Poetry...From the Heart.

The Key
By: Peter Flessas

How ignorant I am,
To not think like them,
They say life is much harder than it looks,
How easy, when your few worries… are books.
I feel locked behind a door,
There must be… there must be more…
I think day after day,
And ask – must it be this way?
But the answer is now clear,
Life is as hard as you make it, my dear.
With every situation, there comes a choice,
So own your power – use your voice,
Know that fear is just reaction,
Just (e)motion, with-out action,
It’s now time to choose,
And to wake from that long snooze,
Realize, it all starts from the beginning,
Of evolution… now listen…
In those first couple letters,
You will find what really matters,
So look close and see,
It’s love…
Love.
The key...

Pay attention to what I am saying and you will realize that the truth exists in so many ways. One hint...EVOLution.

Don't Be Afraid to Be Remarkable Beyond Reason

When you leave this planet and decide to depart from the transportation vehicle of that which is your body, and you take a moment to review your life on Earth...what will you see? Will you see a human that followed the rules, stayed in line, and took little to no risks in order to avoid failure and/or judgment from others? Or will you see a human that lived without boundaries, took risks frequently, failed often, and was remarkable beyond his/her time?

It seems obvious that most people would choose the second scenario...but when you really cut the BS and look at how people are living, you'll notice that A LOT OF PEOPLE WOULD CHOOSE TO STAY IN LINE. Is it their fault? No, it's not. Why? Because they were conditioned this way. It's how most of us were educated, it's what our parents, friends, teachers, etc. all told us over and over again.

But times are changing. People are awakening. It doesn't have to be this way anymore. As more and more people evolve with this new awareness, that conditioning will dissolve - it simply won't be necessary anymore.

It's time to step outside the box. It's time to live. Now is the time to let go and just be...

Are You Crazy Enough?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dX9GTUMh490&feature=related

This video was brought to my awareness today...truly inspiring. When you really look back at history, these are the people that really, really believed in themselves. It's easy for us to see that these people were geniuses, but that wasn't always the case...these people, at one time, were thought of as nutcases, wackos, and just straight up crazy people. They failed over and over and over again, but this only made them stronger. With much courage, trust, and faith, they stuck to it until a paradigm shift had occurred, which changed everything and pushed the human race forward.

Today, history repeats itself as I see crazy ones like myself, and many others, pushing-pushing-pushing the human race forward into a new reality.

Let go of status quo...GET CRAZY!

The "Wouldn't it Be Nice If?" Technique

Do you ever have trouble attracting what you want in your life? You've done affirmations, meditations, visualizations, and constant positive thoughts but am still not getting the results you had hoped for? Well, the problem might be a contradictory vibration that you are holding, which is keeping you from getting that which you desire. For example...lets say you want to make a million dollars in a year and you repeat to yourself "I am a self-made millionaire" every single day. Sometimes (and often enough) there is an underlying feeling, a vibration, that is saying something like "I'll never be THAT wealthy." Whether you say it or not - it's there - and it is holding you back. So, Abraham-Hicks came up with an interesting technique you can use to dissolve that contradicting feeling/vibration that you are resonating! It's called the "Wouldn't it Be Nice?" Game!

Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXiVtECYEZc

I encourage you to watch the video first, but here are some notes:

- Saying "wouldn't it be nice if...(positive statement)" creates a soft vibration so that you won't feel like it's the end of the world if it doesn't happen.
- The statement diffuses that logical, contradictory vibration. All that exists is your positive intention.
- You hold your place in alignment.
- Your cells will begin to cooperate with this statement and realign your body.
- As your body changes and transforms into alignment, your life will soon find itself in alignment and that which you desire will present itself.
- This is not an instant result, but if you trust that everything will come into alignment, it will.

Thoughts on Experience

Experience is something that we all acquire as we develop as human beings. Whether it is experience in business, sports, the arts, etc; There is typically always something that we can all say we are "good" at. Though, have you ever noticed that the more you focus on how good you are, the worse you get? Why is this?

My answer to that question is: the Ego. The difference between a person that is advanced in their field and a person that is a master in there field is that the master has simply learned to ignore their ego. By doing this, the master operates without judgment, experiencing every thought, idea, and situation as though he/she were seeing it for the first time. The master has learned to listen, allowing new possibilities to exist. Masters understand that the world is dynamic, it's always changing. In order to stay on top, you must learn to allow your mind to change as the world does.

A Mirrored Reality

We live in a mirrored reality. Our reality – all that we see – is merely a reflection of ourselves. Our reality is created internally, and projected as a mirror image. Hence, in your reality, when you see something or someone that you don’t like or that you feel is offensive – know that this is merely a mirror image projection of yourself that you have not yet learned to accept.

So, give love and be grateful for every individual, every situation, and every experience. Prohibit the use of judgment and you will find your life experience elevate to an extraordinary level!

With Infinite Love and Gratitude,

Peter
